| Site Class | Type of the response spectrum in reference to the definitions in the KDS17:2018 (Class S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5) | |
| Seismic Zone | Seismic zone per KDS17. Default zone is I. Program automatically will adjust the value of Factor Z per selected seismic zone. | |
| Return Period | Return period per KDS17. Default period is 200. Program automatically will adjust the value of Factor I per selected return period. | |

Name of the variable that describes the response spectrum The horizontal default name will be set up as KDS17_Csm. The variable (and the related variables, formulas and tables) is stored in Properties > Variables and can be used when defining the earthquake load (Schedule > Load Definition > Earthquake Load). The variable describing the response spectrum will be given in terms of Sa/g (-) as a function of the period T (s). |
